Share your butterfly

Hey guys! Thank you so Much for stopping by! Today the blog is inspired by a MarieTv episode "How To Change The World & Live Your Purpose w/ Adam Braun". Adam Braun is the founder of a Pencils of Promise which in 2014 (thats when this episode is from) had founded more then 200 schools around the world. The inspiration I got from this episode is where he talked about his light bold moment, when he knew that he wanted to do something important in the world. So today I will share my light bolb moment that changed my life.

All trough my life I said that I would become an engineer as mom and dad, and I was following that direction until it said stop. The stop was this inner wisdom that I was not supposed to become an engineer. I stopped going to engineer classes almost at the end of the 3. semester, everyone was telling me, you have to Finnish your exams. But this inner wisdom was so strong that I couldn't.

After some soul searching and mind maps of what I love to do I found that I could take a semester of arts and crafts. I loved it! I was so uplifted and alive, but still I didn't know what I would study next. The change came one day when we went to a lecture about how inner city schools i UK that had had a lot of violence and unmotivated children had changed through learning an instrument. by mastering one skill had given them self esteem and motivation to master other skills to. I can remember it as it was an actual physical light bold going of while I was going to my dorm, I`m gonna become a teacher! I want to build up self esteem in people so they believe in themselves enough that they know that they can achieve what ever they want to achieve.

So I followed the light bold moment and have become a teacher, now the next step is to follow teaching music to build self esteem. And that is what I want to use my music for to build a music school here in Tanzania.

So now that I have shared my light bold moment i want to share this amazing episode of MarieTV it was like it was speaking to my soul, enjoy!

The title of this blog is "share your butterfly" because I got this Idea today that I would like to collect drawings of butterflies and attach the persons dream to it. Wanna join?
